The control system is used to realize monitoring circuits, to connect comparison and measurement instruments (pressure gauges, pressure switches, pressure transducers).
Due to capillary effect, the flexible hose attenuates the pressure peaks and avoids the transmission of vibrations to the instruments.
By the micro flexible hoses it’s possible to establish connections in extremely limited spaces (for example, in the power units) and the installation becomes simple and rapid.
System consists in a wide range of miniaturised fitting suitable also into micro-circuits, to realize the main connections of the cylinders up to a diameter of 40 mm.
In the permanent hydraulic systems (yard machinery, foundry machinery, machine tools) it is used to check the pressure into different points of the circuit and the monitoring fittings are installed near to the pressure switch, near to the electro valves and after the relief valves for the regulation of the pressure.
The test couplings are fitted on those points of the circuit in which is not justified the use of a fixed pressure gauge.

They could be also used to bleed the circuit, with no leakage of oil. This operation could be made connecting one end of the flexible micro hose to the tank or to drain pipeline, and the other end to the check couplings positioned on a high pressure line or connected directly to the cylinder.
By the monitoring fittings could be drawn sample of fluid to analyse the level of contamination, etc.
Another possible application is monitoring the pressure occasionally on the systems which is not possible a fixed installation of the pressure gauge (special machinery, trucks, tractors, etc.).
When installing the assembled hoses please follow below advices:
Avoid twisting the assembly. (Fig. 1-2)
If there are moving parts which can cause twisting, take care to avoid this by a correct installation. (Fig. 3-4)
Avoid tight bend radii by using proper fittings. (Fig. 5-6)
Do not begin to bend closer than 1,5 times of the external diameter of the hose, starting from the end of the ferrule. (Fig. 7-8)
The length of the hoses is gauged in conformity with the DIN 20066 rule.
In this rule the tolerance of the length are also indicated.

With the gauge measure the threads diameter (ø male external, ø female internal).
With a thread pitch gauge determine the number of the threads per inch or the distance between threads in metric connections.
